Police requesting additional information from the public about what took place

Portland police responded to reports of a shooting at a large house party attended by more than 100 people. Officers arrived about 10 minutes after the first 911 call, found a chaotic scene, and located two injured victims, one of whom received a tourniquet before being taken to the hospital. Four additional victims arrived at hospitals in private vehicles. An 18-year-old man later died from his injuries, while the other five victims are expected to survive.
The individual killed has been identified as Terrell J. Granberg, 18, of Portland. His family has been notified of his death.
Investigators identified more than 60 shell casings across a three-block crime scene and documented damage to multiple vehicles. Due to the scale of the investigation, homicide detectives, forensic teams, crime analysts, ATF agents, and the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office assisted in processing evidence and following leads.
Police had responded to the same home earlier that night for a large gathering, but most attendees left and no disturbance remained when officers cleared the scene.
Detectives continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information to email homicidetips@police.portlandoregon.gov and reference case 26-224255.
