Desiree Noisette and husband Aaron Davis hosted a ribbon cutting event at their restaurant Mermosa PDX. Mermosa PDX will also debuted Oregon’s first and only B.I.P.O.C. and Women Owned and made Wine Market with mindful curation of local artisan products.

Noisette opened her French Haitian Cuisine restaurant and bar earlier this summer, hosting her soft opening in July. "We are so proud to welcome Mermosa PDX as the first Black owned business the Black Business Association of Oregon has recruited to Oregon," says Lance Randall, Executive Director of the BBAO. "We look forward to supporting the growth of the company and making sure it's successful." Mermosa PDX quickly became a community favorite featuring Portland’s Happiest Happy hour, weekend brunch parties with a DJ and live music weekly. “My husband and I are excited to host this ribbon cutting”, says Mermosa PDX Co-Owner, Desiree Noisette. “We have been so busy activating our space with great food, awesome cocktails and entertainment that it feels good to take a moment to better connect with city officials, business leaders, media and local influencers. Mermosa PDX is open Thursday through Saturday 10am to 10pm, Sunday 10am to 4pm. The restaurant and wine bar serves French Haitian cuisine, a variety of Mermosa Bubbles, wine and cocktails.

The pulled pork sandwich, smash burger, french toast bites with lime curd and the griot platter are customer favorites. Either dish pairs well with an elevated Mermosa flight.

Mermosa PDX is located at 1422 NW 23rd Avenue, Portland, OR 97210.
